Trojan War Battles Best
Trojan War absent for 306 days, was put in very short this morning for his second start in the Manlift Hire Maiden. Despite drifting in price on track out to 9/4, the Montjeu colt proved up to the task in the hands of Johnny Murtagh. Sublime Talent assumed the mantle of favourite as Trojan War proved easy in the market but the latter was strongest in the concluding stages and he prevailed by two lengths from Sanforized
Pat Keating, representing Ballydoyle, said: "Johnny was delighted with him and he should come on from that."
