Treble for Murtagh at Tipperary
The unstopable training/riding combination of Aidan O?Brien and Johnny Murtagh struck twice in the opening three races at Tipperary today and Murtagh was also aboard the David Wachman trained Pyrenees which landed the premier handicap. Hail Caesar kicked things off with a winning debut in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden before Pyrenees landed the Irish Wheelchair Association Premier Mascot Derby Handicap.
The hat-trick was completed when Psalm effortlessly justified 4/11 favouritism in the Dan Dooley Ford Motor Centre Maiden.
The daughter of Sadler?s Wells looked the winner throughout the 1m1f race, eventually winning by an eased down five lengths from Academy Gigsnreels ventually winning by an eased down five lengths from Academy Gigsnreels.
