Treble Cone (12/1) made it a double for Colin Keane at Leopardstown when powering home on the outside in the mile handicap.
Front-running Stranagone was swamped inside the final furlong and it was Treble Cone who beat off Passing Trade (9/1) on the inner by half a length. Queluz (20/1) and Mulzamm (8/1 co favourite) came in third and fourth respectively for each-way players.
Trainer Gerry Keane said: “We bought him off Ger (Lyons), and he’s come down a bit in the handicap.
"He can be a bit pokey in the morning and it’s taken us a while to get to know him. Hopefully there is another one in him.
“There is a race at the Curragh next Friday but that might come a bit soon. We’ll see how he is after this.”
