Top off Mark on chase debut
Top Mark made a winning debut over fences when repelling the challenge of Coffee Tea Or Me in the beginners chase at Ballinrobe.
Barry Geraghty sent his mount to the front with over a circuit to race and he responded well when pressed before the second last fence to record a two-and-a-half length victory.
"He done it well. He likes good ground and jumps well," said winning trainer Gordon Elliott.
"He'll probably go to Perth in a couple of weeks time for a novice chase. He'll keep going over the summer and might go back on the Flat."
