Joseph O'Brien's Top Moon came home strongest at the end of the two and a half mile handicap chase at Wexford.
He got a lovely tow into the race on the downhill run to the home straight and tackled front-running, and hard driven, Due Reward before the penultimate fence.
The six-year-old gelding grabbed the lead upon touching down and a good leap at the last went a long way to securing victory.
He won going away, under Mark Walsh, by two and a half lengths to reward favourite backers at 'Burlington Bertie 100/30'. Somptueux chased him home at 6/1 with Funky Dady third at 4/1.
Walsh, in the JP McManus silks, said: "He has loads of experience and was entitled to win a race like that. He jumped and travelled well and everything went to plan."
