Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen's bid for a Gowran four-timer came unstuck as their 4/7 chance Radanpour had no answer to the mare, Toe The Line in the concluding four-runner www.gowranpark.ie For Best Offers Race.
Colin Keane kept the classy daughter of Shantou around the inner approaching the straight as her three rivals went wider.
It was soon apparent that Toe The Line was holding all the aces and in the end she powered away to defeat Radanpour by nine lengths.
"It looks like she's back to herself. She seemed to handle the ground and surprised me by being able to handle it," said winning trainer John Kiely.
"I'd say we'll wait for the Vintage Crop now and if she's not good enough for that she'll go hurdling."
Owing to ground conditions, the Stewards granted permission for races five, six and seven to be started by flag.
