Division one of the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap was won by the James McAuley trained Time Travel under a fine ride by Joseph O'Brien.

O'Brien made all on the Fantastic Light gelding and kept on well close home to hold off the fast finishing Imprudent Miss by a short head.

A delighted McAuley said afterwards: "He worked really well here during the week. Rory [Cleary] was really happy with him."

"He has always been a nice horse and the penny seems to have dropped. He had to have two wind jobs so it's taken awhile to get going again."

"We will probably look for something similiar for him."
