Inner Beauty (5/2) got off the mark at the third attempt in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series Fillies’ Maiden in the hands of Billy Lee.
Third on debut at the Curragh, she was a beaten favourite when fourth last time at Tipperary when ridden in the front rank.
Here, stepping up over a furlong in trip, she was dropped in mid-division on the rail.
She closed behind the leaders early in the home straight, and once switched left for racing room coming to the final furlong, the Starspangledbanner filly, trained by Ken Condon (second 2-y-o winner in week), picked up well and drew away to beat running-on newcomer Consternation by two lengths.
The 9/4 favourite Equilove dropped out tamely enough having made the running to two furlongs from home.
Bred by HRI chairman Nick Hartery, the winner cost 35,000 Euros at Goffs Autumn Yearling Sales last October.
Winning rider Billy Lee said: "She had a very good run the first day, the second day in Tipp, I was keen to go forward and it probably didn't suit her to ride her that way.
"Today I took my time and we went a nice gallop. She cruised into the race and on the face of that it was a good performance and she'll get seven furlongs."
