After a string of placed efforts over hurdles and fences, point-to-point winner The Folkes Tiara finally got off the mark under Rules in the Cosy Roof (C&G) Maiden Hurdle.
The 8/15 favourite was prominent throughout and went on after the third-last before being ridden out by Rachael Blackmore to score by three lengths from Gio Drummer Boy.

Stable representative Robbie Power said: "He was second to a good horse of Willie's (Mullins, Katou) in Tramore the last day and he has got some good chase form as well, so he was entitled to do that.
"He has got plenty of options - that's his first win and he has lost his maiden tag over hurdles, so he could go for a novice hurdle and there is a valuable handicap chase in Galway as well that could be an option because he was placed in Punchestown in a handicap chase at the festival and was second in Leopardstown over Christmas. A handicap chase in Galway could be on the agenda.
"We had a winner the last day we came up and another winner today, so when you have a winner it is all worthwhile."
