The Big Boyo scores easy win
The Pat Colville trained The Big Boyo was the second horse on the card at Cork today to win with first-time blinkers, scoring a fine 19 lengths success in the corkracecourse.ie QR Beginners Chase.
RIdden by Pat Collins, the son of Luso raced prominently, led from four out and stayed on stoutly for an easy win over Rivazza
Afterwards Fethard based Colville stated “The Big Boyo was entitled to win this and always looked a chaser. He had been beaten previously by decent quality horses and the blinkers helped him concentrate. He may have one more run this season provided there is some ease in the ground.”
