Favourite Good Thyne Tara ran out a convincing winner of the opening McHale Pro Glide Mower Range Hurdle at Ballinrobe.
Danny Mullins rode the Kayf Tara mare for his uncle Willie and afterwards he reported: "It was a good performance - on her Killarney run - I won the race and I thought it rode a good race - that entitled her to be starting favourite here.
"She's improved from there and hopefully she'll win plenty more through the summer.
"It's good for Neil (King, owner). He is a good supporter of Willies and he likes his mares. It's great to see him with a nice one."
Good Thyne Tara beat off Housesofparliament by no less than sixteen lengths.
Unfortunately Hurricane Ben and Lesley Dawn were fatalities when falling at the second last here.
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Vengeful (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and pulled up.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Housesofparliament trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was found to have pulled its right hind shoe.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Another Cyclone trained by John Joseph Hanlon was found to have pulled its left fore shoe.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Vengeful (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled its left hind shoe and to be lame on its left hind leg post race.
