Taglietelle so enjoyable for all involved

Those that joined in the gamble on favourite Sunsetstorise or were ‘on’ previous market-leader Good As Gold were left disappointed as Paul Carberry brought through Taglietelle with typical confidence to land the opening www.downpatrickracecourse.co.uk Maiden Hurdle.
As Sunsetstorise and Good As Gold duelled up front, the Gordon Elliott-trained Taglietelle benefited from a patient Carberry steer, eventually extending away on the run-in to score by an easy twelve lengths.
Elliott reflected: "Paul gave him a great ride. He never jumped at Navan but I think he'll be a better horse on better ground and he's definitely not a bad type." (MG & EM)
