Swan sings Russell's praise
Charlie Swan was full of praise for jockey Davy Russell following his ride on his One Cool Cookie in the featured Listed Wilf Dooley Chase at Tramore today, completing a double for the trainer.
The son of Old Vic made all and kept up the gallop to eventually defeat Knight Legend by ya length and three parts.
Afterwards former Champion Jockey Swan reported "Davy gave One Cool Cookie a great ride - the horse jumped well for him and got into a lovely rhythm."
He added "despite winning the Power Gold Cup, One Cool Cookie is something of a 'nearly' horse as he is hard to place with a rating of around 150. However, we'll keep to these type conditions races and he may also get an entry in the English Grand National."
