Swan and Carberry Back in the Groove
They may have suffered a reverse when Valain was turned over at twos on in the concluding race here last night but it was back to a more familiar outcome for Charlie Swan and Nina Carberry when Sutherland Star went clear from two furlongs out to beat On Borrowed Wings by eight lengths in the Hireall Marquees 'See You Again In August' Flat Race.
Swan said: "He was a bit unlucky the last day when he didn't get the best of runs. He stays real well and likes good ground. He'll go for a maiden hurdle next, maybe at Galway."
