- Swallow records fourth Tramore win
Swallow records fourth Tramore win
Bay Swallow flew home inside the final furlong to claim the Fillies Handicap at Tramore.
Danny Grant gave the Daylami filly a power packed ride to get up and collar Fammi Sognare for a three-parts-of-a-length victory.
Pat Flynn 's charge once again showed her liking for the tight undulating track, recording her fourth career success, all of them at the Waterford track.
"I'm delighted with her. She won well at the finish," said Flynn.
"She's a three-parts sister to Grey Swallow and we'll put her in foal next year. She likes it around here."
Ben Curtis worked wonders to retain his partnership with Bessie Lou who stumbled at the top of the hill when leading and nearly unshipped her rider.
