Strong support for Gilligan bumper horse
Kings County Star has been the subject of a serious plunge in the bumper at Fairyhouse this afternoon.
The Paul Gilligan-trained runner has been backed from 12/1 this morning into 5/2f second favourite.
The gelding was due to be ridden by Miss E Lynch, a sister of rider Andrew, but the seven-pound claimer is reportedly unwell.
Stewards left it to the last minute to allow a request for Robbie McNamara to take the mount.
