The opening race this afternoon at Down Royal, the Mirror Maiden Hurdle was won by the Noel Meade trained Street Legal under Paul Carberry.

Carberry was always prominent on the Alhaarth gelding before improving to lead from 3 out. Strongly pressed at the last Street legal kept on well to hold off 25/1 shot Paddy O’Dee by 2 lengths.
