The Chris Timmons-trained Chicago Storm edged a good duel with Rhythm And Tyne to land the spoils in the mile-and-a-half claimer at Dundalk.

The 11/1 shot was produced to lead passing the furlong pole, by Colin Keane, but was joined by Rhythm And Tyne in the closing stages.

He stuck his neck out close home to secure victory by a head.

The winner had attracted support from 22/1 this morning. He had landed a Naas handicap back in August and was last seen finishing mid-division over hurdles at Navan last month.

Timmons said: "Colin has been lucky for us.

"We are very happy - he has loads of ability. I wasn't 100 per cent sure about this surface for him, but Colin thought he handled it well.

"He's tricky - he has always worked well, but he's just a little bit unreliable. You wouldn't set your clock to him!

"He was (game in the finish) and he had to battle. He travelled around well.

"I'd imagine so (come back here soon if not claimed), but I'd say there could be a couple of people interested. He's a good dual-purpose type and he could even jump a fence.

"We've had our time with him and he has won twice for us."

The eighth-placed Imadpour was claimed by Ian Donoghue. A Daughtersdelight who finished seventh, was claimed by J M Keogh to be trained by Shane Duffy.
