Barry Geraghty was seen to good effect when winning the Scanlon’s Bar & Restaurant Handicap Hurdle aboard the Noel Meade trained Steve Capall for owners the Fortysomething Syndicate in which racing personality Hector O’Heochagain is involved with.
Ben Meade brother of the winning trainer said afterwards, “We’re delighted he’s after winning. He was wearing blinkers for the first time this evening and they seemed to have made all of the difference.
Meade also stated, “Noel is doing well he came out of hospital on Saturday and he’s taking things easy and trying to get himself ready for Galway.”
