Stack filly makes all for easy Listowel win
The Fozzy Stack trained A Little Bit Me bolted up to win the George Fitzmaurice Handicap at Listowel today, making all for a nine lengths win under jockey Chris Hayes.
The daughter of The Factor was a winner over six furlongs at Cork last month and seemed to relish the step up to seven today, scoring easily from Comhairdeas.
Afterwards Stack stated “we made use of a low draw (3) and while she’ll get a good hike for winning that, she’s after winning twice now and probably enjoyed the step up in trip.
“she was a bit out on her head over five (furlongs) the last day and when she won at Cork she only got on top in the last furlong. We’ll try and find something similar now - but probably three grades higher!”
