Fresh from their success with You’resobeautiful at Navan yesterday, Fozzy Stack and Chris Hayes struck again in the opener at Gowran, division one of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden, with Lynn Britt Cabin
Also at Proudstown Park on Wednesday, the colours of Craig Bernick, were relegated to the number two spot, by a mere nose, when One Voice lost out to stable companion Silence Please, in the Listed Salsabil Stakes.
There was no such heart-ache at Gowran for Bernick though, as his Lynn Britt Cabin built on a sixth placing at Naas last September to touch off Bestrella and Magic Chegaga by a neck and a head.
"Chris said she was green but got the trip well. I was worried whether she'd get it being by Dark Angel but she could get a mile,” said Stack.
"She is owned by an owner/breeder, Craig Bernick, who would like to get black-type eventually and I think that is achievable."
