The Tommy Stack trained A Shin Impala scored his second career win, both in 2016, under Wayne Lordan and over a mile at Dundalk, today when landing the opening Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Rated Race at the Co Louth venue today.
The son of Evasive, backed from 10/1 this morning in to 7/2 favourite, was today running in first-time cheek pieces and scored a length and a half win over Dance Alone
Stack was represented by his son and soon to be licensed successor James ‘Fozzy’ Stack who later stated “he’s been a bit disappointing since winning here in the spring,” said Fozzy Stack.
“We tried the cheekpieces on him tonight and they worked. He’ll most likely go to the horses-in-training sale at Doncaster.”
