Spring survives stewards enquiry to collect
There was drama in the concluding stages of the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap at Sligo as winner Lucky Spring came across Frutti Tutti late on.
Padraig Beggy produced his mount inside the final furlong but he just edged right close home, causing Frutti Tutti to snatch up.
It was a double on the card for Beggy, following his success on White And Red earlier.
Trainer Pat Martin was recording an across-the-card double, having struck with Our Nana Rose at Gowran Park just ten minutes earlier.
