Spinningayarn makes it a 1,576/1 Elliott 4-timer in the bumper Gordon Elliott has enjoyed many great days at Navan over the years and added to his superb course record by completing a 1,576/1 four-timer as Spinningayarn made a successful debut under Rules in the bumper. The Order Of St George gelding impressed when taking a point-to-point for Sean Doyle last spring and was sent off a 100/30 chance here against a couple of well fancied rivals. Eachtotheirown travelled well to lead early in the straight but the 6/4 favourite was strongly pressed from over a furlong out. Spinningayarn appeared set for third spot but kept on strongly to snatch the verdict close home by half-a-length. Sine Qua Non held every chance finishing a further three-quarters of a length back in third. Elliott said, "He's a nice horse and he's going to come on plenty from that. I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up going for a Cheltenham bumper. "He's definitely going to stay down the bumper route, there's a lot of improvement in him. "He could definitely (go out in trip in time)." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
