Spill The Beans wins Tramore opener
The opening www.tramore-racecourse.com Maiden Hurdle went to the Henry De Bromhead trained 5/4 favourite (from 3/1 in the morning) Spill The Beans under Andrew Lynch.
The son of Talkin Man made most, and although joined by eventual runner-up Got Options at the final flight, battled well to win a neck.
Afterwards De Bromhead stated “Spill The Beans deserved to win one and Andrew gave him a clever front-running ride.”
“He’ll go chasing straightaway now and should be better over fences as he has no respect from hurdles. It is a nice tonic for his owner Herb Stanley who is not feeling great at present.”
