Sonny B was the second 16/1 winner at Limerick today, winning the Ryans Cleaning Beginners Chase for trainer John Joe Walsh and jockey Brian O'Connell.
The winner was left well clear at the final fence as Annie Oakley crashed out when looking held in second place. At the line, Sonny B recorded a nine and a half lengths win over Shamiran while Annie Oakley was ok following her heavy fall.
Afterwards Walsh stated: "He loves that ground but his problem all along was his jumping. He is starting to learn to jump now and we'll see what handicap mark he gets now.
"He'll make a nice chaser and might run in a novice next."
