The well bred newcomer of Kevin Prendergast's Recharge won The betdaq.co.uk Maiden in great style for Christy Geoghegan in the saddle wearing the familiar colours of Lady O'Reilly.

Geoghegan settled his mount in mid-division made progress on outer over 2f out and stayed on well to lead over 1f out holding off Dermot Weld's Signal Fire and John Oxx's Aliyfa

Geoghegan a native of Kildare Town is apprenticed to Kevin Prendergast and is enjoying a great season recording his 8th winner of the season.
