Jimmy Finn expects a return to Tramore to bring out the best in stable stalwart Coldstonesober as he looks to get back on the winning trail in Thursday's Pat Woodbyrne Memorial Handicap Chase.

The nine-year-old has had a busy campaign, with this his 13th start of the year and seventh since the start of July.

During that period Coldstonesober has won over hurdles at Sligo and over fences at Tipperary, as well as finishing third at the Galway Festival.

He tackles the larger obstacles once again in County Waterford, just four days after chasing home the Willie Mullins-trained Childrens List in a conditions hurdle at Downpatrick.

Finn said: "He's come out of the race the other day well and we're looking forward to going back to Tramore with him, where he's won twice before.

"I think the reason he likes Tramore is because you have a better chance of getting good ground there.

"He'll like the ground, the track and the trip, so hopefully he goes there with a squeak.

"He's had a good year and we'll see it out while the sun shines before giving him a break during the winter."

Coldstonesober is partnered by conditional jockey Jonathan Moore as he faces nine rivals over a mile and three-quarters.
