Smullen seen to good effect

Pat Smullen was seen to good effect when winning The Stonethrower Handicap aboard 11/2 Shot Morrigan from the Joanna Morgan stable.

Smullen was always prominent on the Danetime filly, led and clear from 1f out, kept on well despite drifting left close home.

Winning trainer Joanna Morgan was absent.
