Slippers wins aboard Risk Taker
The Hanratty Oils Handicap provided a thrilling finish with the Ivon Keeling trained Risk Taker getting up to win by a head under Niall 'Slippers' Madden in the colours of Garrett Freyne.
It was a real family affair as the trainer and owner are both uncles to the jockey.
Winning trainer Keeling said afterwards, "He ran a blinder here the last day, Gary [Carroll] gave him a great ride. He has plenty of ability but he is a bit of a rogue. We will keep going with him maybe go for another flat handicap or go back hurdling with him."
