Sky toughs it out at Tipp
Skyway showed a great attitude under Keagan Latham to justify favouritism in the Ballykisteen Rated Race at Tipperary.
The daughter of Trans Island soon led and though strongly pressed from the quarter mile pole she kept finding just enough to hold all challengers at bay. At the line she had a head and a neck to spare over Rock Medley and Livaleo
Winning trainer Dick Brabazon said: "She is as tough as nails and Keagan said there is very few that can pull like that and still fight at the end. She is a real summer filly and we'll either try to step her up to Listed or leave her to next year as she still has a bit of growing to do."
