Hammered into a starting price of 4/6 Sizing Pottsie delivered in style in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse.

For Ann & Alan Potts Limited and Jessica Harrington, Sizing Pottsie was having his second start over fences, after unseating at the last on debut at Leopardstown.

This time under Robbie Power the Kapgarde gelding left Dakota Moirette for dead, after jumping the final fence (usual two out).

Fifteen lengths eventually split them and Mrs Harrington said: “He was good. Two miles on that ground is his distance.

“He might come back here for a novice handicap chase over two miles at Easter.

“When he was beaten twice in maiden hurdles we said 'he's a great big horse, why not go chasing with him'.

“He's a grand horse, we're just getting him right now. He'll go on a bit better ground as well.”
