Singing Bird springs a surprise
Billy Lee - calm and not in any rush

Qasser was all the rage for the P.G.Duffy & Sons Citroen Maiden at the Curragh with the benefit of a run under his belt but the finish was fought out between the newcomers, Singing Bird and Imaginationrunwild with the former prevailing by a length and a half.
David Wachman trains Singing Bird for the Anna Deesse Syndicate and he said: "She's a nice filly and we'll look for stakes form now.
"She's a grand straight-forward filly and Billy gave her a nice ride, he was calm and not in any rush." Hi Emperor came home well for third to ensure the frame was filled with outsiders whilst Qasser dropped to fourth near the line. (TW & EM)
