Shark attack at Tramore
John 'Shark' Hanlon saddled his Master'n Commander to win the Madra Dog Foods Handicap, under a strong ride from promising seven pound claimer Conor O'Farrell.
The son of Zafonic was held up early before making rapid progress to lead over three furlong out, eventually keeping up the gallop to win by two and a half lengths from Derrymore Dawn
Afterwards Hanlon stated "that was a good performance as I though the ground was too soft for Master'n Commander! He ran a cracker over a trip too short for him last time at Dundalk and she may revert to a Listowel hurdle next."
