She could hardly have more eye-catching parents in Deep Impact and Peeping Fawn and September herself could hardly have been more eye-catching with the manner of her debut success in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Leopardstown.
Nine to two joint favourite with her Ballydoyle stable companion Easter Lily (4th), September was on a different level under Seamie Heffernan as she skipped away inside the final furlong for a five and a half length win over Himmah
Gamble of the contest Reehaab (20/1 into 6/1) could manage only sixth place.
"I think that's the first one we've had that's won first time out (this season). She's bred to be okay and I'd say she's okay as she gave me a good feeling," said Heffernan.
"Ours can work really really well at home and then on their first runs can disappoint but that's just the way they are. I'd say she has an engine alright."
The ground was changed from yielding to yielding to soft after this race.
