Second success for Jessica Maye

Jessica Maye registered a second winner today at Limerick, steering the John Connaughton-owned-and-bred Any Dream Will Do (22/1) to an important maiden success in the Ard Erin Stud Handicap.
Out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner Coronet, Any Dream Will Do missed the break and was produced on the outside with her challenge, eventually improving to lead inside the final furlong and beating Shawaamekh by a length and a half .
Winning trainer Willie McCreery later said “it is an important win pedigree-wise as she is a beautifully bred filly. She finished second at Gowran last year and flies at home for Jessica. She missed the break but she gave her plenty of time and didn't panic.”
Maye's previous winner was on the John Geoghegan-trained Lady Boomerang in August 2020, which carried the colours of her mother Sandra Maye.
