Scholastic takes honours in Limerick
Scholastic, right, gets the better of Ya Ya Baby

Joseph O'Brien's Scholastic came out on the right side of a battle with Ya Ya Baby in the Askeaton Handicap at Limerick.
This race was over a mile and the pair locked horned a furlong and a half down.
It was Scholastic who stayed on the stronger close home to post a success by three parts of a length.
The 11/4 favourite Ya Ya Baby, with 10 stone on her back, only gave best late on. Divine Celt couldn't lay a glove on the aforementioned pair but did keep on for third, beaten three lengths by the winner.
Assistant trainer Brendan Powell said: "Shane (Crosse) said she loved coming down the outside and won nicely enough after a bit of a battle with the second.
"You'd imagine she'll stay further but has been running over a mile. It's only her third start for us and the drying ground would be a help to her, she's only a small filly but bounced off it."
