Scallan defeats Fegentri riders on Acriveen
The foreign based amateur riders failed to land the Eimer Hannon Travel Fegentri QR Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today, with Acriveen scoring for third racecourse winner for Wexford rider Mark Scallan.
The series featured five foreign based riders with Ross River under Mr M Falk Weissmeier, finishing closest, in a never nearer fourth.
Winner Acriveen is trained by Wexford based John Berry who stated "we will try to win another handicap hurdle with Acriveen but he will then be sent chasing."
