Same again for Cool
Keep It Cool followed up his course and distance success here a fortnight ago when claiming the last at Dundalk tonight.
Fran Berry worked his way into contention down the straight on the gelding and he hit the front inside the final furlong.
Pat O'Donnell 's charge proved too strong for Casbah Rock going on for a length-and-a-quarter success.
Owner Willie O'Brien made the trip from County Clare to see his charge triumph:-
"I've had horses in training since 1971 but this lad is the only one to have won more than one race.
"He's the only horse I own outright at the moment but I have shares in others.
"We were expecting a good run tonight as he has had the perfect prep.
"He loves hard ground and will go over hurdles next as long as he gets firm ground. He has a good handicap mark over hurdles."
