Sagacious wins Curragh finale
Jim Bolger's Sagacious under Kevin Manning, made a winning debut at The Curragh today, landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden by half a length.
The daughter of Dalakhani raced prominently throughout before eventually getting her head in front inside the final furlong, to defeat fellow newcomer Alsalwa
Afterwards Bolger stated “Sagacious has possibly done enough racing this year and may now be left off. I see her as a mile and a half filly for next year.”
