Zanjabeel bounced back to form in Tramore and gave Davy Russell a double on the card.
Gordon Elliott 's four-year-old gelding soon led but faced a challenge from an improving Magnetic Force as the race unfolded coming to the second last.
The leader got away well from that obstacle and was ridden out by Russell to take the honours by two lengths at 11/2.
Magnetic Force could make no impression on the winner on the run-in and had to settle for the runner-up prize at 7/2.
Jefferson Davis was a notable absentee as he was withdrawn due to the change in going to good to firm before the second race. This reduced the field to seven runners.
Davy Russell said: "He liked the ground and the change of tactics probably helped as well. All credit to Gordon, the tactics were his idea.
"He said if they weren't going quick to let him on. I thought they were going to go a gallop but they didn't and then I just let him on. He jumped well."
