Russell gets things Sorted
Sorted #8217;s win in the IFA Members’ Services Beginners Chase completed a double at Kilbeggan this evening for jockey Davy Russell.
The son of Kayf Tara held up the off-time of the race by two minutes having acted up before the start of the race when isolated from the other runners. Russell dismounted the gelding before lining up and made all to eventually hold the fast finishing Model County Lass which had been under pressure from some way out, by a short head.
Winning trainer Conor O’Dwyer was not present for the win.
