Second on her previous start at Naas, Tiscommonknowledge justified good market support to go one place better in the Tote.ie Nursery.
Trained by Padraig Roche for the All Rogues Have Friends Syndicate, the Gleneagles filly was backed from 5/1 to 10/3 before the off.
Wayne Hassett bided his time in mid-division before bringing his mount into contention over a furlong out. Ridden to lead in the final 150 yards, the winner stayed on well to account for Mo Ghille Mar by four lengths.
“JP and Noreen (McManus) were kind enough to give us two fillies last year," said Roche.
"I got a syndicate for one and my father got a syndicate together for this one. “She’s a tough little filly.
"She’s improving, the step up in trip suited her and she went through that ground well. We’ll have a bit of fun with her next year.
“She was a weakish filly and is improving the wholetime and getting stronger. She ran well in Naas the last day and I thought she’d come on a bit from it.”
