Rio Alto impressive at Tipperary
The James Motherway trained Rio Alto ran out an impressive 7 length win of The Ballyhooley Racing Club Maiden Hurdle under Paddy Flood.
Winning trainer Motherway said afterwards, "That was a surprise my horses just haven't been running well lately. The last day she ran they went no gallop and she never settled but she settled well today and jumped well. Paddy said the ground was ideal and that she wouldn't want it any faster that she wants good ground with a bit of juice in it. We will probably go for something similar next."
