"He's a big baby. He has loads of scope, plenty of size. Shane (Foley, winning rider) said when he got there he was green in front," said Michael Halford after his Rezeki justified odds of 5/4 in the opening Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund (C & G) Median Auction Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Dundalk.
As anticipated the favourite came forward sufficiently from his third placing, from here three weeks, to defeat Medicean El Diablo by three lengths.
"He's a lovely horse. We'll put him away now and he's a nice prospect for next year. He'll get a mile no problem," added Halford.
"He's got a great temperament and attitude and has a great action. He's a smashing big horse."
