Realt Mor recorded his first win since the Grade 1 Powers Gold Cup over three years ago when taking the featured Sheridan Agri Contractors Chase at Ballinrobe.
The 5/1 chance was completing a 41/1 double on the evening for leading rider Jack Kennedy, who sent the strong-travelling gelding to the front before two out.
The Gordon Elliott-trained son of Beneficial needed to be driven right out on the far side on the run-in to get the better of USA, with the pair separated by the width of the track.
A length was the winning margin at the line, with Colbert Station another six and a half lengths back in third.
Kennedy said, “He jumped brilliant and settled well too. I got racing early on him and was a bit worried but to be fair to him he was on his own after jumping the last and he stayed galloping.
“He’s a class horse on his day but he just lost his way a bit. Hopefully he’s back to himself now.”
Kennedy was successful earlier on the card on Lisa's Legacy and is now on the 34-winner mark for the season.
