Redzer takes last at Gowran
The concluding race at Gowran Park, the Kilkenny Handicap Division Two saw a cosy winner in the Jessie Harrington trained Redzer Gazgoff
Seamie Heffernan who took the riding honours sent the son of Trans Island to the front over a furlong and half out.
The pair were soon clear and stayed on strongly for a three and half length win over Playdate and Michael Hussey.
Eamon Leigh assistant to Harrington said afterwards: "That was a bit of a surprise, we were going to give up on him, but fair play to the owner who kept going."
"The owner is Corinna Grehan and she is from Athlone. She also bred this fellow herself."
