The Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap saw a very easy winner in the Joanna Morgan-trained Raise Your Heart The six-year-old he ran out an eight length winner in the hands of Conor O’Farrell for owners the Gaeltacht Gang Syndicate.

Winning trainer Morgan said afterwards, “He’s only back in six weeks and I thought he might have needed it. We have him in the Galway Hurdle so he’ll go there but he’s in again here next week so might come here again and then head to Galway. If the ground came up very fast we could run him in McDonogh Handicap at Galway instead.”
