Railway Zira the only mare in the beginners' chase, kept up the gallop to take the concluding race on Roscommon's card.
She picked up the lead after the third fence and tanked along under Sean Flanagan. Approaching the home bend she had the pursuers off the bridle.
After the third last Flanagan stole a peek over his right shoulder and saw Speed Demon Kylestyle and Celestial Prospect a couple of lengths away.
If anything the mare increased her advantage on the run to the last fence which she jumped well albeit slightly to the right.
She kept going and hit the line eight lengths up on Celestial Prospect (3/1) who came through for second. Kylestyle (14) got third-placed money.
The winner was nibbled from 8/1 to 7/1 at the track. This was the first time she sported blinkers.
