Raheenwood scores for Kidd/Flanagan

Co Carlow based Colin Kidd saddled his second winner when his Raheenwood himself recorded his second win when claiming the Waterford & Tramore Directors Handicap Hurdle at Tramore today.

Afterwards Kidd stated “Sean (Flanagan, winning jockey) gave Raheenwood an absolutely brilliant ride and knows the horse so well as he schools him at home.”

He added “he is a very easy horse to do anything with and after today’s win, I wouldn’t be afraid to step him up in trip. We may go to Listowel for another handicap next but he doesn’t handle winter soft ground.”
